Job summary

Darling International Canada Inc. in Winnipeg is hiring for a Class 1 Truck Driver on a full-time, on-site basis. You will be responsible for the pick-up and delivery of raw materials and finished goods across multiple routes and shifts, with some evening and weekend work depending on scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Evening shifts along with weekend work will be required depending on weekly route scheduling.
• Conduct all interactions with customers and suppliers in a respectful, professional, and service oriented manner.
• Required to formally report any concerns or customer service-related issues.
• Responsible for following all company and Health and Safety rules and for communicating all reportable incidents.
• Responsible to ensure that both tractors and trailers are maintained in a clean and presentable condition.
• Ensure safe driving operations.
• Responsible for effectively and efficiently dealing with ad-hoc issues that may arise.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Logistics Department, Truck Drivers are responsible for the pick-up and delivery of raw material and finished goods on a variety of routes and shifts. We currently have an opportunity for a reliable and conscientious individual to join our team as a Class 1 Truck Driver at our Winnipeg location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
