Job summary

CommerceLink Logistics is seeking a dedicated Class 1 Driver to haul regional freight within interior BC, including one-night bunking. Role emphasizes safety, on-time deliveries, and strong professionalism on varied mountain routes.

Ideal candidates have BC Class 1 license, clean record, and 2+ years of regional experience. This full-time position offers robust benefits and ongoing training, with shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Class 1 Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience, mountain driving preferred.
• Experience on regional routes across Alberta and BC is an asset.
• Knowledge of provincial highways and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units on regional BC routes.
• Complete pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections.
• Secure loads and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs (E-logs preferred).
• Communicate with dispatch about routes and delays.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery points.
