Responsibilities

• Overseeing the processing of transportation claims submitted by customers, clients, or other stakeholders.
• Investigating and resolving customers’ freight issues, including claims for damaged or lost freight.
• Reviewing claim documentation, assessing claim validity, and ensuring information is gathered.
• Complete freight claim paperwork with transportation provider—paper or electronic.
• Process checks and ensure all parties are paid in a timely manner when a claim is resolved.
• Provide proactive education to the drivers to decrease future freight claims.
• Provide written and verbal communication to all involved parties.
• Prepare reports and analysis to provide insights into claims trends and settlements.
• Stay updated on applicable laws and guidelines to ensure compliance.
