Job summary

Gallagher Bassett Canada is seeking a Claims Supervisor to lead a team of adjusters and administrative staff across commercial liability, auto, and property lines. You will mentor staff, drive performance, and ensure superior client service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5 years related claims experience required.
• CIP completion or in progress with minimum courses for licensing C110, C11, C12, C14.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all provinces in which claims are being handled.
• Extensive knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

In the Claims Supervisor role, you will lead a team of adjusters and administrative and technical support staff.

How will you affect the business?

• Experience in Commerical Auto, property and CGL
• Familiarity with litigation, mediation and other legal processes.
• Litigation management
• Drive adjuster hiring and development which results in a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
• Lead a claims team that delivers high quality and efficient service
• Guide, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports through the development of team goals and workload balancing protocols, while encouraging and delivering strong performance Continuously finding ways to improve teams' efficiency and quality utilizing Gallagher's technology
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional and proactive manner
• Effectively lead multiple priorities, recognize coaching opportunities, and position team members for success

About You

High school diploma and 5 years related claims experience required.

CIP completion or in progress with minimum courses for licensing C110, C11. C12 C14

Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all provinces in which claims are being handled or able to obtain the licenses/certification per local requirements.

Extensive knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.

Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred.
