Job summary

Our client, a premier global claims services provider, seeks an experienced Claims Supervisor to lead a team of adjusters and support staff in Canada. You will oversee Commercial Liability, Auto, and Property lines, driving hiring, development, and performance within a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include mentoring direct reports, guiding litigation processes, and ensuring client-focused service while leveraging technology to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related claims experience.
  • Experience in Commercial Auto and CGL.
  • CIP completion or in progress.
  • Appropriate licensing/certification in relevant provinces, or ability to obtain.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to interpret documentation and resolve complex claims issues.

  • Drive adjuster hiring and development to build a high-performing, client-focused team.
  • Guide the team through litigation, mediation, and other legal processes as needed.

  • Manage multiple priorities while recognizing coaching opportunities and positioning team members for success.

The Opportunity:

You’ll lead a claims team handling Commercial Liability, Auto, and Property lines, driving hiring, development, and performance across a group of adjusters and technical/admin support staff. This role offers a diverse range of experience across jurisdictions, industries, and risks, and the chance to shape a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
