Job summary

Cowan Insurance Group in Ontario is seeking a Claims Representative to join the Claims team. You will manage and resolve property, auto and liability claims and communicate with clients and insurers throughout the claims process.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in insurance with strong customer service, policy interpretation and data entry skills. RIBO license or the ability to obtain is preferred; CAIB or CIP is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance claims and customer service.
• Ability to interpret policy wordings and explain clearly.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients during the claims process.
• Provide exceptional service via phone and online reports.
• Review coverage, explain the claims process, and manage milestones.
• Maintain records in the claims management system.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and service teams.
