Job summary

CGIC in Canada is seeking a Regular Full-Time Bodily Injury Claims professional for a hybrid role (2 days in office). You will investigate, interpret coverage, reserve adequately, negotiate and settle bodily injury claims, while delivering quality client service and engaging with claimants, lawyers, policyholders and witnesses.

You will set up and maintain files, handle defense litigation and ADR, and authorize payments and reserves up to $75,000, contributing to a client-centric claims

Qualifications

• One year insurance experience or two years related business experience.
• Working towards Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses.
• Provincial adjuster license(s) may be required depending on province of work.
• University/College Degree.

Salary information

Expected Salary range : 50,280.00 to 83,800.00

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co‑operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
