As the Claims Learning Consultant, you will partner with respective business counterparts to provide effective learning advisory and solutions that meet business and learner needs. You will conduct performance consulting and needs analysis, lead advisory efforts, and oversee the claims discipline learning portfolio, including prioritization of learning efforts and solutions. Through collaboration with business partners, you will bring our client service philosophies to life through execution of the Claims training strategy.
How you will create impact:
- Building relationships with each stakeholder group to determine learning and development needs through information gathering, assessment and analysis and recommend learning solutions.
- Lead the content creation analysis, providing direction on collaboration tools and partnering with content experts to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Partnering with stakeholders on the design integration of information sharing systems, managing change risks and responding to escalated issues.
- Maintaining a strong level of knowledge and understanding of the needs of the business (short and long-term objectives and goals) to align learning solutions to meet these needs.
- Acting as a project manager for adaptable teams and assist subject matter experts on the design, development and delivery of training and content solutions.
- Developing tools and processes to assess learning effectiveness and business impact, including structuring the evaluation of programs, monitoring results and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Partnering with leaders and stakeholders to ensure successful transfer of learning, including assessing individual progress and leveraging reinforcement tactics.
- Ensuring responsive, agile execution of training goals through collaboration with team members, project teams and participation in community of practice network.
- Supporting and monitoring the evaluation of the effectiveness of the training programs and delivery.

To join our team:
- You have five years of experience in training development and delivery.
- You have a post‑secondary education in adult learning, instructional design or a related discipline.
- You have demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching and contributing to the development of employees.
- Having the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.
- You have knowledge of collaboration and content management technology.
- You have knowledge of content management best practices.
