You will support civil models, drawings, and construction-ready packages across multiple project phases. You will collaborate with engineers and project staff, applying BC guidelines and software like AutoCAD, Civil3D, and AutoTURN.

The role of an Intermediate Civil Technologist is to work as a key member of multidisciplinary project teams supporting the civil design delivery of infrastructure, municipal, public realm, and land development projects for our expanding list of clients. Working alongside lead engineers, project managers, and intermediate and junior engineering and technical staff, the Civil Technologist will support the preparation of civil models, design drawings, technical deliverables, and construction-ready packages across multiple phases of project development.
The Stantec Community Development group in British Columbia provides services to both public and private sector clients across the province. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate with our Canada West Infrastructure teams and support civil design needs across municipal infrastructure, transportation, airports, ports and marines, and other major infrastructure projects. This work may include roadway and utility design, as well as site grading and servicing, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, shallow utility coordination, and drawing package development for development projects ranging from infill and brownfield redevelopment to greenfield development and public space improvements. Position will primarily work in an office setting. Stantec is also prepared with the infrastructure available to support individuals working with a hybrid schedule from home.

Pay Range:
Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$72,300.00 - $104,800.00 Annually
