MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager for a well-established general contractor in Delta, BC. You will own project delivery from award to completion, collaborating with the Site Superintendent and field teams on a dynamic expansion stage.

The role emphasizes leadership, client relationships, and construction accounting familiarity, with opportunities for long-term growth as scopes expand regionally.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related education.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience as a Civil Project Manager or Project Coordinator.
• Proven ability to manage client-facing relationships on active civil construction projects.
• Experience with construction accounting and project management software (Explorer, HCSS, Procore or similar).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite — Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine project requirements and risks.
• Plan, schedule, set objectives, and control activities during construction with Site Superintendent.
• Manage project schedules and adapt to ensure progress as required.
• Communicate and maintain company policies with internal staff and external parties.
• Oversee project administration including issue resolution, scheduling, shop drawing control, invoices, claims, and file maintenance.
• Manage preparation and monitoring of quality control documentation.
• Serve as primary link between Site Superintendent and corporate office.
• Manage client relationships, change orders, and cost recovery through the project lifecycle.
• Other duties as assigned.
