Job summary

CapWest seeks a senior civil leader to own complex civil and infrastructure scopes from preconstruction to closeout in Vancouver. You will drive planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across consultants, municipal authorities, and subcontractors to deliver value and project certainty.

With 5+ years in civil construction, you will mentor teams, enforce standardized processes, and ensure deliverables meet MMCD standards and quality benchmarks on large heavy civil projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Civil and Infrastructure construction experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of MMCD standards and permitting processes.
• Direct project management experience across full lifecycle.
• Experience overseeing large heavy civil and infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Degree or diploma, PM education considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution for civil and infrastructure scopes aligned with project timelines.
• Support strategy development, resource planning, and best practices for delivery.
• Act as a senior technical resource to coordinators, superintendents and consultants.
• Establish standardized processes, documentation, and quality benchmarks.
• Review design packages, manage RFIs and change directives for clarity.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and identify risks with mitigation plans.
