A civil construction company in Chilliwack is seeking an experienced Civil Project Coordinator. This role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring quality control, and supporting civil construction projects. Qualifications
Successfully completed technical diploma or degree in civil engineering.
Minimum 4+ years' experience working within a contracting firm on civil construction sites.
Understanding and competency using GPS and/or total station for surveying and layout.
Responsibilities
Coordinate project activities and develop project schedules.
Perform quality control assessments and project inspections.
Compile project submittals, RFIs, and complete reports.
Assist Project superintendent with crew supervision.
Perform other labour duties as required.
Assist with site surveying and quantities.
Coordinate quantity tracking and perform productivity analysis.
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Manage junior project coordinators and interns.
Skills
Technical diploma or degree in civil engineering
4+ years' experience in civil construction
Competency in GPS and total station
Strong work ethic
Problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work outdoors
Valid Canadian driver’s license
Physically capable of manual labor
