Job summary

Aecon Civil, based in Toronto, is seeking an experienced Planner to support complex infrastructure projects across Canada. The Planner will develop and maintain schedules, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure data integrity across the project life cycle.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will use Primavera P6 and TILOS, forecast resources, analyze progress, and produce dashboards and reports to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of planning experience on major civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong scheduling and data management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scope into the total project plan and verify schedules.
• Develop and maintain project schedules across the life cycle.
• Create conventions, calendars, and data libraries for scheduling.
• Forecast resources and analyze productivity for the project.
• Prepare progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Analyze schedule variance, KPIs, and manage change notices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate 5D schedule with 3D model and cost data.
