Binnie is seeking Civil Engineering Assistants for the Development Group in Langley and Burnaby to support project drafting, design, and field assignments during the January to April 2027 work term. You’ll work with Project Managers, Designers, and Engineers, gaining mentorship and practical experience on residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
Office locations in Burnaby/Langley, with potential extension to August 2027 depending on project needs.

Binnie is looking for Civil Engineering Assistants to join our Development Group in our Langley and Burnaby office, which provides professional civil engineering services for local municipalities and private developers alike. Typical projects include road and utility improvements and replacements, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control for major residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
The position will be for the January to April 2027 work term. There may be an opportunity to extend the work term to August 2027 depending on project requirements. You will be working with our experienced Project Managers, Designers, and Engineers on interesting drafting, design, and field assignments. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $25 - $27 hourly. The final salary for this role may vary based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
