Job summary

Associated Engineering, Edmonton office, seeks an Intermediate Civil Engineer to lead municipal infrastructure projects including water, drainage, roadways, and pumping stations. You will provide design expertise, prepare proposals, and coordinate across disciplines.

We value strong communication, client development, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment. APEGA registration or eligibility, a Civil Engineering degree, and 6+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
• 6+ years of municipal engineering experience.
• Experience with design, specifications, scheduling, cost estimating, tendering, construction, and commissioning of roads, drainage, water mains, sewers, and pump stations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
• Consulting experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel within Alberta.

Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Engineer (Intermediate) to join our team in our Edmonton office. In this role you will be working on municipal infrastructure projects, including water mains, sanitary sewers, site grading, drainage and roadways. You will provide technical expertise and project coordination while demonstrating resourcefulness, and adaptability in your role. You will have hands‑on involvement in preparing proposals, advancing projects through the concept, design and construction phases. You will also be involved in managing and developing new clients.
