What You’ll Do

• Lead and execute civil engineering assignments of varying complexity using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design tools.
• Mentor junior technologists, sharing advanced techniques and ensuring adherence to design standards.
• Organize and guide drafting teams on small projects, developing schedules and monitoring progress to meet deadlines.
• Review discipline drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Conduct site surveys and involve junior staff to support training and data collection.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to integrate civil systems into cohesive project deliverables.
• Manage discipline-specific information systems and ensure efficient resource use.
• Apply advanced knowledge of construction technology to solve design challenges and implement innovative solutions.
• Oversee quality control for contract documents and support contract administration and field review tasks.
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

• Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and mentoring mindset.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Professional certification or licensure in civil engineering technology or related field (preferred).
