Position Details
Position: Full Time Mobile Guard
Site: City of Brampton
Pay Rate: $22.16
Schedule: Continental Days (0600-1800)
OT Method: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) After 88 hours

Key Responsibilities
- Being alert and observant while being outside, standing or walking for an extended period in all weather conditions (Rain, Snow, Excessive Heat & Cold, etc.)
- Maintain communications with fellow Security Guards/dispatchers, Cliental and Paladin leadership staff
- Ensure all site staff adhere to Paladin Security policies and procedures
- Ensure proper documentation is passed onto the Shift Leads/Dispatchers, client and Paladin leadership team
- Complete mobile patrols diligently
- Document and investigate security incidents and complaints
- Communicate any concerns/issues with Supervisor/Client Service Manager or the client
- Ensure any deficiencies with the vehicle are reported to Paladin leadership team
- Ability to work alone and be self-motivated
- Maintain the highest standard of security, being professional in attitude, appearance and application
- Represent Paladin Security, The City of Brampton and their customers in a way that enhances quality, image and reputation
- Perform security duties in accordance with established procedures and within applicable laws
- Be observant and record all discrepancies, deficiencies and safety hazards/concerns noted during patrols, and take corrective action or inform the applicable department
- Be courteous and helpful in enforcing all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations
- Perform duties and tasks as directed by the Security Leadership team and respond to client directions (City of Brampton)
- Respond immediately to any emergency and coordinate response accordingly based on established procedures
Prerequisites
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
- Covid Vaccine two doses
- Valid G class Driver License
- Driver\'s abstract required; no more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must
- Previous 3 years experience in mobile security, law enforcement, or a related field
- Must provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin\'s UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding to meet requirements; training is not paid, but Paladin covers costs with a 6-month commitment
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Certification Requirements (All)
Valid Ontario Security License
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid G or G2 Driver\'s License
