PeopleToGo Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP SOX Consultant to join our Canadian client as a full-time hybrid role in Mississauga. The on-site component is two weeks per month, with a compensation range of CA$75,000.00–CA$86,000.00 yearly.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SAP SOX, SOX 404, IPE, and ICFR, and can support management and external auditors during certification. Strong knowledge of SAP reports and controls is essential for audit readiness.

Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP SOX Consultant to join their project immediately and will run until January 2027, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting SOX compliance programs in SAP environments, with demonstrated experience in SOX 404 compliance, Information Produced by Entity (IPE), control design and effectiveness assessments, SAP reports and tables supporting financial controls, control remediation and deficiency management, and supporting management and external auditors during SOX certification or audit activities. Also strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) is required. This is a hybrid role that requires working on-site 2 weeks per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support SOX 404 compliance activities, including scoping, risk assessments, and testing of key financial controls.
• Evaluate and validate Information Produced by Entity (IPE) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and reliability for audit purposes.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) within SAP and related systems.
• Review and analyze SAP reports, tables, and system-generated data that support financial reporting and control processes.
• Identify control deficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely remediation efforts with process owners.
• Collaborate with management and external auditors during SOX certification, walkthroughs, and audit fieldwork.
• Monitor ongoing compliance, track remediation progress, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience working in regulated or publicly traded organizations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
