The Salvation Army in Halifax, Nova Scotia is seeking a temporary full-time Christmas Van Driver to support Community and Family Services during the holiday season. The driver will pick up donated toys and assist in organizing and packing them in a warehouse setting.
Shifts run 8:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday, through December 31, 2026. Candidates must lift up to 50 pounds, provide a valid driver's abstract, and meet vehicle-insurance requirements.

Position Purpose summary: The Christmas Van Driver provides support to the Community and Family Services during the Christmas season on a temporary basis. The Driver will pick up donated toys from various locations within the HRM and to assist in the organizing and packing of these toys in a warehouse setting.
This is a temporary full time position ending December 31, 2026
Hours of Work: 8:30-4PM (M-F), with a 30 minute unpaid lunch

The target hiring range for this position is $18.30 to $22.87 with a maximum of $27.44. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
