The Salvation Army Community and Family Services in Halifax is seeking a temporary full-time Christmas Program Support Worker to help administer the Christmas Assistance Program. You will assist with registrations, data entry, client support, and volunteers, ensuring a respectful, dignified experience for those in need.
You will support the setup and operation of distribution spaces, coordinate donations, and handle general administrative tasks with discretion and professionalism.

Position Purpose summary:
The Christmas Program Support Worker provides temporary support to Community and Family Services during the Christmas season. This position assists in all aspects of the Christmas Assistance Program, including administration, client support, volunteer support, event preparation, and other program activities. The goal of this role is to help ensure that the Christmas program runs smoothly and effectively, serving individuals and families in need with dignity and compassion.
This is a temporary full time positon ending December 31, 2026
Hours of Work: 8:30-4PM (M-F), with a 30 minute unpaid lunch

The target hiring range for this position is $17.00 to $18.08 with a maximum of $21.69. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
