We are currently seeking a dedicated Chilled Despatch Team Leader for both dayshift and nightshift roles. In this position, you will play a critical role in overseeing our chilled despatch operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and the highest quality standards are met.

Your leadership will be key in managing your team to ensure that our products are despatched on time and in perfect condition, while also fostering a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the chilled despatch team, ensuring all products are packed and despatched according to schedule.
• Maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation to optimize efficiency in deliveries.
• Conduct regular team meetings to promote information sharing and address any challenges.
• Monitor performance metrics for the despatch team and implement improvements when necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

Hours of work:

7 days over 14 days

Dayshift 7AM-7PM

Nightshift 7PM-7AM

Rate of pay: £14.26-£15.32

• Experience in a supervisory or team leader position within a warehouse, logistics, or food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of chilled products and best practices for storage and despatch.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and operational efficiency.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, as required by the role.
