Childcare Worker/Educator – Infant Room
Full Time, Permanent
Wage: $18.80 – $21.25/hour + wage enhancements

Manitoulin Family Resources requires 2 full-time Childcare Workers/Educators to work within our infant room. This position will be working with infant age children creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The positions will be based out of our Little Current Child Care Centre location with occasional work in Mindemoya on an as needed basis.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Relevant Education or combination of education and related work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning and communication skills
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Valid First Aid and Infant CPR certification
  • Up to date medical and immunizations
  • Clear vulnerable sector screening check
  • Safe Food Handlers Certificate
  • Current Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Insurable Driver’s Abstract
  • Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators considered an asset

These positions have physical requirements such as lifting and physical play with young children. These positions are Full Time positions within the bargaining unit. Flexibility in scheduling will be required to meet the needs of the programs.
