Job summary

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (SFFA) is seeking a compassionate Childcare Worker to support the daily care and well-being of children in a foster home. You will perform childcare tasks, light housekeeping, and transportation for family visits or outings in a nurturing environment.

Candidates should have childcare experience, be at least 18, and demonstrate excellent communication and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood development, with a preference for experience working with diverse needs and challenges.
• Must be at least 18years old
• A commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle and the well-being of children and families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to provide a recent Criminal Records Check.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Position Overview:

As a Childcare Worker at SFFA, you will play a key role in supporting the daily care and well-being of children in a foster home. Your responsibilities will include a combination of childcare, light housekeeping, and assisting with transportation for family visits or outings.
