The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (SFFA) is seeking a compassionate Childcare Worker to support foster families and care for children in our province. The role combines childcare, light housekeeping, and transportation support for family visits, with an emphasis on safety and well-being.

This part-time position requires flexibility, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood development, with a preference for experience working with diverse needs and challenges.
• Must be at least 18years old
• A commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle and the well-being of children and families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to provide a recent Criminal Records Check.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Childcare Worker to join our team and provide essential support to foster families.

Position Overview:

As a Childcare Worker at SFFA, you will play a key role in supporting the daily care and well-being of children in a foster home. Your responsibilities will include a combination of childcare, light housekeeping, and assisting with transportation for family visits or outings. Given the dynamic nature of this role, flexibility and adaptability are essential to meet the evolving needs of the children and the family.
