Job summary

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (SFFA) is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Childcare Worker to support a foster family in Prince Albert, SK. The role includes childcare, light housekeeping, and transportation for visits and appointments.

The ideal candidate will have Grade 12, 7–11 months' experience in childcare, and a valid driver's license with a recent CRC. Two days per week with flexible daytime hours until September, then evenings/weekend shifts in September.

Qualifications

• ECE or Youth Care Worker certification is considered an asset but is not required
• Experience in childcare or early childhood development is preferred, particularly supporting children with diverse needs and challenges
• Commitment to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license and a recent Criminal Record Check
