Job summary

North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services (NEOFACS) invites applicants for an Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing Worker in Timmins. The role delivers preventative and protective services to children and families, and conducts risk assessments with development of protection plans.

Qualifications

• MSW or BSW preferred; college diploma in social services may be considered.
• Experience with children, youth and families is an asset.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel; bilingual English/French required.
• Must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license or higher and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and child protection services to children and families.
