BrightPath Kids in Maple Ridge, BC is seeking a Bus Driver to transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons. The role is part-time with no evenings or weekends, and compliance with safety and driving regulations is essential.

Responsibilities include pre-route safety checks, assisting students as needed, and maintaining a safe, positive riding environment. The position offers competitive pay and benefits including childcare discounts and insurance options.

Formación

• 1+ year of experience driving a school bus preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Experience working with children is an asset
• Class 4 Drivers license with a clear drivers abstract, S Endorsement preferred
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment

Responsabilidades

• Transporting children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
• Obey traffic laws and drive safely.
• Perform safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensure the safety of all children onboard.
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus when required.

What will you be doing?

As a Bus Driver, you will transport children in our care to and from our centres. Responsibilities include:

• Transporting children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
• Obeying all traffic laws.
• Performing safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensuring safety of all children.
• Assisting students with getting on and off the bus if required.
• Other duties as assigned.
