Wage: Step 1: $26.97, Step 2: $28.52, Step 3: $29.77

Reporting to the Simcoe Live-In Treatment Supervisor, the Child and Youth Worker (CYW) works as part of an interdisciplinary team delivering direct services to clients with mental health needs. The CYW is responsible for creating a safe and therapeutic environment where individual client goals are met. All employees share responsibility for workplace health and safety, working in compliance with laws and safe work practices.
The CYW must develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, families, and guardians, modeling positive social and problem-solving skills, and managing behavior effectively.
This position is covered by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) Local 355 group, with scheduling as per the collective agreement. Internal applicants are considered first.
Note: Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
