EPAM Systems in Canada seeks a technology executive to serve as Chief Technology Officer for the Databricks Data & AI consulting practice. You will guide multi-year data strategy, architecture, and migrations to Databricks, lead technical pursuits, and own key partner relationships.

You will shape reference architectures, governance, and production-grade CI/CD/MLOps while driving asset development and market presence through co-sell and analyst relations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership including 5+ years as CTO or equivalent.
• Deep Databricks expertise across Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and MLOps practices.
• Proven migrations from legacy warehouses to Databricks and production ML/AI delivery.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and governance/security in regulated industries.
• Executive communication and experience shaping client strategy and engagements.

As the senior technical authority for Databricks and the public voice of the practice, you will guide clients through data strategy, architecture and migration to Databricks, lead the technical side of pursuits, own the Databricks relationship, and build the practice's assets and market presence.Reporting to the CEO, you will partner with client executives, our account and delivery leaders, Databricks' field teams, and industry analysts.
