Job summary

EPAM Canada is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, Applied AI (Frontend Leading) to design GenAI-powered web interfaces and integration libraries for enterprise use. You will bridge LLM orchestration with user experience, delivering responsive, accessible UIs and robust client-side integrations.

You will collaborate with designers and product managers, implement LangChain/LlamaIndex patterns, and ensure security and observability across frontend and full-stack components on AWS and Docker-based

Qualifications

• Frontend mastery with 5+ years in enterprise web apps (React/TypeScript/Vue).
• 5–8 years across full web stack (frontend UIs, REST APIs, microservices).
• 2+ years integrating GenAI features, LLM APIs, and prompt UI patterns.
• Strong Python backend development skills and 2+ years cloud microservices on AWS, Docker, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end GenAI-powered applications with intuitive UIs.
• Develop responsive frontend interfaces with streaming, low latency.
• Build and maintain reusable frontend components and design systems.
• Implement LLM-based experiences using LangChain or LlamaIndex with providers (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini).
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate AI UX patterns.
• Ensure security, accessibility, observability, and test coverage across client-side and full-stack.
