Job summary

Bank in Laval, Quebec seeks a Chief Functional Analyst to drive business and data governance within the MCP – Master Client Profile team. You will join a squad focusing on implementing and integrating new client-side capabilities, contributing to the Bank's cloud transformation.

You will analyze issues, map data needs, and collaborate with IT and stakeholders. A strong background in data governance, MDM, and Agile methods is required to support priorities and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or other diploma in computer science or related, with several years of IT experience as a business/ functional analyst, ideally in banking.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders.
  • Experience within a data ecosystem (SQL, Oracle).
  • Mastery of modeling tools (UML, BPMN, Collibra) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience in documenting functional requirements.
  • Excellent autonomy, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team spirit, curiosity, flexibility and open-mindedness.

Your job
  • Your role is a hybrid of business analyst/functional analyst.
  • Analyze business issues, map processes and identify data needs

Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree or other diploma in computer science, or related, and several years of experience in IT as a business analyst and/or functional, ideally in a banking environment
