Reporting to the CEO, the CFRO will shape policies on capital, liquidity, and regulatory compliance, oversee risk identification and mitigation, and serve as a trusted advisor to the Board and staff.

The Opportunity:

Radius Credit Union is seeking a Chief Financial & Risk Officer (CFRO) for a full-time, permanent position. The work location is flexible and may be based at any Radius Credit Union branch or remotely, depending on the successful candidate.

As a member of the Executive Management Team, the CFRO provides strategic leadership for the organization’s finance and enterprise risk functions, helping guide sustainable growth, sound governance, and long-term organizational resilience. The ideal candidate will bring progressive senior leadership experience, preferably within the financial services industry. A skilled collaborator and relationship builder, this individual will establish credibility across the organization and serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Executive Management Team, Board, and employees.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial & Risk Officer will develop and implement corporate policies related to finance, capital, and liquidity management. The CFRO will lead the identification, assessment, monitoring, and management of key risks, including credit, interest rate, liquidity, and operational risk. The role also provides executive oversight of the organization’s technology strategy and projects and ensures effective regulatory compliance practices are maintained.

The successful candidate will bring proven financial acumen, strategic business insight, and a strong commitment to service, along with a clear understanding of the competitive environment. Success in this role will require the ability to communicate complex matters clearly, engage teams across the organization, and build alignment around shared priorities. As a member of the Executive Management Team, the CFRO will help champion Radius Credit Union’s culture and model collaborative, accountable leadership.
