Volcano Communications Group, a nearly 125-year-old, family-owned telecommunications company located in Pine Grove, California, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. This strategic, high-level thinker will have a proven track record in both financial and regulatory management skills.

As CFO, you will oversee financial strategy, planning, and operations, ensuring compliance, stability, and growth across the organization. Reporting directly to the President, you will manage a talented team in accounting while collaborating with executive leadership to drive key initiatives and long-term success.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading budgeting, audit, and financial forecasting activities;
2. Providing financial insights and strategic guidance to the Board of Directors;
3. Driving operational efficiency and compliance with FCC regulations;
4. Overseeing the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and cost analysis.

Successful candidates will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration;
• 5-7 years of relevant financial leadership experience;
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning;
• A proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams;
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

The position is located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, a quiet and peaceful, family-oriented community with a moderate climate and pine trees. It is approximately 65 miles from Sacramento International Airport and less than three hours from Reno. The area offers outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, boating, golfing, and day trips to San Francisco, Monterey Bay, or Santa Cruz.
