Up to $220,000 per year + Bonus

A long-standing company based in Nashville, TN is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for leading all financial operations, ensuring strong fiscal management, and supporting long-term strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in all things Accounting and Finance with a hands-on leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Financial Oversight

• Partner with the CEO and executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor key financial metrics and operational indicators to guide business decisions.
• Drive financial modeling, scenario planning, and capital deployment strategies.
• Act as a strategic advisor to ownership regarding business expansion, investment structuring, and risk mitigation.
• Direct and manage all accounting functions including general ledger, A/P, A/R, and fixed assets.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage annual audits and ensure all financial records are audit-ready.
• Maintain and improve financial reporting systems, dashboards, and metrics.

Treasury & Capital Management

• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and working capital strategies.
• Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and capital raise processes.
• Lead the development and implementation of short- and long-term capital strategies.

Investor Relations

• Oversee investor reporting including capital call notices, fund distributions, and quarterly investor communications.
• Ensure transparent, timely, and accurate communication with limited partners and stakeholders.
• Support due diligence for potential investors and capital partners.
• Lead and grow the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Implement scalable financial systems, policies, and procedures to support rapid growth.
• Provide mentorship and development for team members to improve capabilities and succession planning.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to tax, regulatory, and financial reporting standards.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on entity structuring and reporting obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.
