Clean Harbors in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking Professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our safety-first team. Our EO/Drivers operate Hydro Vacs, Wet Vac Trucks, and other equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between generators and Clean Harbors facilities.

Qualifications

• Holding a Class 1 or Class 3 license is required.
• Ability to operate manual transmission.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Experience with Combo, Vac, High Pressure, Chemical Unit, Tanker is a plus.
• Capable of outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Willing to pass background check, drug test, and medical.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work with dispatchers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive equipment to/from work sites.
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely.
• Transport waste to disposal facilities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and team.
• Maintain and clean company equipment.

Our experienced EO/Drivers operate; Hydro Vacs, Wet Vac Trucks, High Pressure Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, Combo Units, Chemical Units, trailers, tankers and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Operating and driving equipment to and from work sites;
• Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods;
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to a Clean Harbors or 3rd party disposal facility;
• Performing pre and post trip inspections;
• Communicating clearly with dispatchers;
• Doing roadside repairs as needed;
• Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.

Qualifications:

• Currently hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license;
• Ability to operate manual transmission required;
• Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair;
• Experience operating equipment such as Combo, Vac, High Pressure, Chemical Unit, Tanker, Hot Oiler, dry ice or core cleaning is an asset, onsite training can be provided;
• Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
