Job summary

Geosam Capital is seeking a Consultant Chef Trainer to lead weekly culinary workshops for youth, delivering basic cooking techniques and healthy eating guidance using La Tablée des Chefs materials. The role emphasizes safety, planning, and working with diverse youth groups in a community setting.

Applicants should have a cooking-related credential (DEP or similar) and experience in education or facilitation.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about food and cooking.
• Skilled in animation and teaching.
• Comfortable with teens and young adults (12–25).
• Empathetic, flexible, and able to adapt to vulnerable youth.
• Autonomous, organized and responsible.
• DEP in cooking or nutrition training is an asset.
• Experience in facilitation or education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one culinary workshop of 2–2.5 hours per week.
• Teach participants basic cooking techniques and guide recipe prep.
• Deliver each workshop using provided educational materials and prep content.
• Purchase ingredients required for workshop recipes (budget allocated).
• Provide required administrative documentation (invoices, questionnaires).
