Chef de production - Éclairage - Head of Production - Lighting

Position Overview:

As the Head of Production for Lighting, you will oversee the technical aspects of lighting production, coordinate teams, and ensure the successful execution of live events, aligning with our company's standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the assembly and disassembly of technical equipment;
2. Ensure proper installation of equipment according to plans;
3. Maintain safety standards for all technical installations;
4. Promote and adhere to procedures concerning equipment handling and management;
5. Collaborate with other departments involved in productions;
6. Operate technical equipment as required;
7. Manage technical operations during events;
8. Lead and coordinate a team through various project stages.

Team Management and Supervision:

1. Ensure safe working practices among personnel;
2. Coordinate departmental operations during events;
3. Develop equipment lists based on project requirements;
4. Propose solutions and improvements for technical realization;
5. Guide technicians and lead a team of employees and temporary staff;

Client Interaction:

1. Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality service;
2. Represent Solotech on-site, coordinate operations, and ensure timely execution of technical aspects;
3. Serve as the primary contact for client questions and project changes.

Candidate Profile:

• Bilingual in French and English;
• Diploma in an audiovisual field (AEC or DEC);
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience;
• Extensive knowledge of technical equipment, electricity, and networks;
• Permits for operating forklifts or aerial lifts (asset);
• Ability to travel to different sites;
• Knowledge of R2 software, CAD (AutoCAD), and other technical software (assets);
• Flexible schedule, team-oriented, autonomous, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
