Job summary

Compass Group Canada in Montreal is seeking a Chef Manager to lead all aspects of food preparation and menu development, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.

You will supervise production, recruit and train staff, manage scheduling and employee relations, and directly oversee four associates while maintaining strict QA, health and safety, WHMIS and HACCP standards across the unit.

Qualifications

• Two years of culinary experience and strong supervisory skills, capable of motivating, leading and developing associates.
• Creative ability to apply current trendy food items and presentations to food service operations.
• Cateringexperience is an asset.
• Hard-working, hands-on team player.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in French and English
• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and feel comfortable learning new programs.
