Job summary

Compass Group Canada seeks a Chef Manager to lead culinary operations, plan menus, and oversee production. You will manage four associates, support hiring and training, and drive high standards of food quality and service.

You will ensure compliance with QA, HACCP, OHSA and WHMIS, deliver strong client satisfaction, and apply trendy food concepts to elevate operations. Bilingual English/French communication is valued, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

  • Two years of culinary experience and strong supervisory skills, capable of motivating, leading and developing associates.
  • Creative ability to apply current trendy food items and presentations to food service operations.
  • Catering experience is an asset.
  • Hard-working, hands-on team player.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in French and English
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and feel comfortable learning new programs.
