Job summary

Compass Group Canada seeks a Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations in Mirabel, QC. You will participate in all phases of food preparation, menu development, and production, while supervising staff and addressing employee relations.

Ideal candidates have two years of culinary experience with strong supervisory skills and a flair for trendy food presentations. Catering experience is an asset, and bilingual communication in French and English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of food preparation, menu planning, and development.
• Assist in production, hiring, employee training, staff scheduling, associate supervising, and resolving employee relations issues.
• Ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction.
• Directly manage 4 associates.
• Ensure compliance with Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, OHSA and WHMIS regulations.
• Ensure HACCP standards are followed in the food preparation process.

• Participate in all phases of food preparation, menu planning, and development.
• Assist in production, hiring, employee training, staff scheduling, associate supervising, as well as addressing and resolving employee relation issues.
• Ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction.
• Be responsible for directly managing4 associates.
• Ensure the unit has strict compliance with the Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations.
• Ensure Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards are followed in the food preparation process.
