Located only 30 minutes from Niagara Falls and 90 minutes from downtown Toronto, 124 on Queen Hotel & Spa offers a luxurious escape.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie at 124 on Queen Hotel and Spa, located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently, and assisting the Head Chef in menu planning. Daily tasks include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, supervising junior kitchen staff, and ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie, Line Cook, or similar role in a high-quality restaurant
  • Proficiency in preparing and cooking various cuisines
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and culinary techniques
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well in a team, maintain composure under pressure, and ensure consistency in food quality
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Experience in farm-to-table or gourmet dining establishments is an advantage
