Job description

Best of Kin Social is hiring! Best of Kin started as a brewing business and has grown over nearly 6 years into a full-service restaurant, brewery, and community space. We are a small company with a lot of heart, guided by values of Social, Care, Fun, Humble, and Present. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Chef De Cuisine.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen is an asset
  • At least 2 years in a Sous Chef role minimum
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Open-mindedness to learning and teaching new skills
  • Willingness to do the “dirty work”
  • Creativity in menu development and feature food items
  • Experience with recipe development
  • Experience with ordering food and supplies
  • Ability to organize tools for team success, such as checklists and accountability measures
