Saputo Inc. in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking a Production Worker to join our cheese manufacturing team. You’ll operate production equipment, follow food safety procedures, and support on-call shifts within a 24/7 facility, with 36-hour weeks on 9-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Operate electric pallet jack and forklifts (counterbalance, high reach).
• Experience is preferred but not required.
• Work in temperate and/or refrigerated environment.
• Production/warehousing experience is an asset.
• Learn quickly and take responsibility for your work.
• Teamwork and good communication with colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Participate in on-the-job training and learn processes.
• Operate production equipment following food safety procedures.
• Perform manual lifting, stacking, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Use electric pallet jack for material handling.
• Assist in setup, takedown and sanitation of equipment and parts.
• Work with cleaning chemicals as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Contribute to cheese manufacturing operations.
