Job summary

Saputo Inc. is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator in Canada to ensure safe, accurate filling and packaging of products. The role requires sanitation, HACCP compliance, and careful documentation within a 6‑month temporary assignment.

Shift is Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a focus on quality and safety in the Pasteurized Product Packaging Area. You will work to prevent contamination, verify weights, and coordinate with support teams to maintain packaging efficiency and safety

Qualifications

• Must understand product types and characteristics to conduct visual and organoleptic inspection and confirmation of product quality.
• Must maintain 100% HACCP documentation and testing.
• Must follow GMP sanitation practices and general housekeeping.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for product verification, fill weight control, product loss control, packaging efficiency, and finished product quality.
• Complete documentation related to Food Safety, HACCP, Personal Safety, and Corrective Action follow up.
• Guard against contamination in the Pasteurized Product Packaging Area.
• Coordinate Waste and Recycling activities to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Work with other departments to ensure efficient process execution.
• Support environmental and sustainability initiatives and adhere to JSA and safety protocols.
• Be prepared for rotational shift schedules and comply with GMP, HACCP & BRC standards.
• Perform other duties as required.
