Job summary

TD Securities in Toronto seeks a Channels Architect to define and steward full stack architecture for GTB client-facing technology. You will own frontend shells, API contracts, and connectivity to internal platforms, guiding product and design with a hands-on engineering focus.

You will mentor engineers, drive engineering standards, and align solutions with enterprise architecture governance. Strong experience in React, REST/GraphQL, cloud-native delivery, and service integration is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with architecture/leadership.
• Deep frontend architecture: micro-frontends, React, component systems.
• Backend/API design: REST/GraphQL; distributed systems fundamentals.
• Cloud-native delivery with Azure; API gateway, security, and observability.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based deployment and platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and steward full-stack architecture for GTB client experience and connectivity.
• Design and govern RESTful and GraphQL API contracts and versioning.
• Own the frontend platform, tooling, CI/CD, and developer experience.
• Lead architectural reviews, enable engineering standards, and mentor staff engineers.
• Engage with EA governance and ensure alignment with enterprise platform roadmap.
