EXTENDICARE Pine Meadow Nursing Home seeks a Certified Resident Programs Aide (Casual) to enrich residents' lives through engaging activities. You will report to the Resident Programs Manager and help design and implement individualized and group activation programs with safety and respect.

Responsibilities include setting up activities, transporting residents, monitoring during programs, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Proof of Recreation and Leisure Services / Gerontology diploma or degree.
• Experience in planning and evaluating activity programs for residents.
• Ability to assess and plan care for geriatric populations, including cognitively impaired.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement, evaluate and revise activation programs for individuals and groups.
• Set up activity areas, transport residents to programs and monitor during activities.
• Maintain records and communicate resident participation to staff.
