Job summary

The District School Board Ontario North East is seeking certified occasional teachers to support classrooms in the Central Region, including Timmins, Schumacher, South Porcupine, and surrounding schools.

Roles span multiple schools with assignments that align to the current collective agreement. Applicants must have Ontario OT certification, a clear background check, and be prepared to work flexibly across the region.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ontario teaching certificate for occasional teachers.
• Experience with classroom management and adaptive instruction.
• Ability to work across multiple schools in Central Region.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and supervision as needed in Central Region schools.
• Adapt lessons to student needs and standards.

Compensation:

Salary in accordance with the provisions in the current collective agreement Collective Agreement

$293.32 per day - $381.67 per day
