Job summary

Interfor is seeking a Red Seal certified Millwright for our Elk Lake, Ontario facility. The starting rate is $44.16 per hour. Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to the area.

This is not a camp or remote role. You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sawmills, planers, and kilns, fabricate and install equipment from blueprints, and collaborate with a safety-focused team to ensure reliability and timely workmanship.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certified Millwright required.
• Strong safety background and adherence to safety rules.

• Owns work quality and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, preventive and breakdown maintenance on sawmill, planer and kilns.
• Fabricate, construct and install equipment using blueprints and diagrams.
• Diagnose issues and improve machine reliability to prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Work flexible shifts including days, afternoons, nights or weekends.
