Your Tasks:

General Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, using PPE as required. Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Report safety hazards or incidents immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
  • Participate in housekeeping activities and proper waste disposal.
  • Follow SOPs and quality control guidelines to ensure process reliability.
  • Record production activities accurately using company software.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and equipment evaluations.
  • Report malfunctions and assist in troubleshooting machinery.
  • Provide leadership and training to new hires and apprentices.
  • Communicate machinery status with internal teams.
  • Maintain work order documentation and support continuous improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and other departments for maintenance procedures.
  • Use measuring tools, hand tools, air tools, and power tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • 442A or 309A Electrician License
  • Skilled Trades Ontario Ticket
  • Ability to detect and troubleshoot process equipment issues
  • Capability to fabricate parts and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience supervising apprentices
  • Strong safety and quality focus
  • Excellent attendance and communication skills in English
