Job summary

Kits Point Dental Group in Vancouver is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) to support dentists and patients in a busy downtown-adjacent clinic. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take X-rays, educate patients on oral hygiene, and help manage patient records and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Licensed/registered dental assistant per provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Ability to take X-rays and manage patient records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

About Us:

Kits Point Dental Group is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) to provide vital support to our Dentist and Patients in a busy downtown-adjacent dental clinic. Their responsibilities include assisting with patient care, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral hygiene. The successful candidate will also handle administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

Hourly wage range is from $31.00 to $35.00 depending on experience.

Schedule:

Full time, Monday - Friday

8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Your Role:

About You:

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required

• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
